WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Chief of Staff is an exempt position critical in supporting the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the executive team in managing and overseeing the organization's operations. This position serves as a key advisor and right-hand person to the CEO, responsible for driving strategic initiatives, enhancing organizational performance, facilitating communication across departments, fostering innovation, and ensuring smooth execution of the company's vision by overseeing projects and aligning teams to achieve organizational goals.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the Information Technology and Data Analytics departments.
  • Guides, coaches, and evaluates performance and provides developmental opportunities to supervised staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Partner with the CEO to develop, implement, and attain the organization's long-term strategic goals and priorities.
    • Collaborate with the executive team to align strategic initiatives with the organization's mission and vision.
    • Prepare progress and outcomes reports for stakeholders.
  • Project Management:
    • Introduce and champion an agile project management framework across the agency to focus the agency on data-driven outcomes and streamlining operations.
    • Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of key projects.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and budget.
  • Capacity Building:
    • Lead data governance committee and efforts, including establishing system change protocols for new or evolving initiatives.
    • Plan and implement capacity-building initiatives to strengthen and streamline administrative operations.
    • Recommend training and development opportunities to support staff growth and development.
  • Performance Management:
    • Lead the development and implementation of performance management systems to monitor and improve organizational performance.
    • Develop, recommend, and monitor key performance indicators to measure progress on the agency’s strategic initiatives.
    • Partner with executive team members to set performance goals and metrics for departments and staff.
    • Oversee monthly data reporting processes, ensuring required deliverables are both timely and accurate
  • Innovation:
    • Foster a culture of innovation within the organization.
    • Identify and implement innovative solutions to improve processes and services.
