Sr Clinical Systems Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Leads clinical requirements development
• Applies clinical knowledge to integrate clinical practice and technology into clinical workflows that support safe and efficient patient care
• Acts as a liaison between end users, clinicians and non-clinical analysts
• Coordinates and drives compliance with change control policies and processes across all product activity
• Provides production support for internal and client use of the product
• Facilitates client case management across functional teams for product
• Performs technical application configuration and configures /runs reports at user request
• Designs and/or executes unit, system and integration test plans for new developments/releases/reports
• Maintains technical documentation based on standard operating procedures in support of the assigned application and/or client account
• Identifies the common causes of the defects, prioritize them and systematically remove them so that they do not reoccur in further development work
• Collaborates with Support leads to ensure that client reported issues are being appropriately prioritized
• Collaborates with Product Development on backlog prioritization
• Coordinate Maintenance events for Product
• Reviews product environment for new, problematic behaviors
• Leads the process of proposing solutions to client requirements/problems; identify dependencies and communicate the risks

 

Qualifications:

 

· BA or BS degree preferred or other relevant combination of training and experience.

· 3-5 years practical experience in providing technical support and maintenance in SCM preferred.

· Healthcare background with clinical experience is preferred.

· Knowledge of MS SQL, Visio, Client/server networking, peripherals (namely printers).

· Ability to review and manipulate SQL queries

· Solid MS Office skills (Excel, Access, PowerPoint)

· Experience with any other EHR application front end or at configuration level is preferred.

· HL7 interface experience is a plus as is build/configuration

· Ability to travel locally to various sites for business needs

· Participate in on-call rotation to support the 24/7 operations of the healthcare system
