About This Role: Join the Urology Complaint Investigation Site (CIS) department responsible for monitoring, identifying, investigating, and escalating product performance signals. This is an exciting opportunity in the Post Market Organization to join the Axonics acquisition team and be part of transforming customer experiences into actionable insights that improve the lives of patients across the globe. Collaborate cross-divisionally and cross-functionally with Design Assurance, R&D, Supplier Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure comprehensive understanding of product performance to improve patient outcomes.
This position is based out of Arden Hills, MN with the expectation to relocate to Irvine, CA for one year and then relocate back to MN.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Collaborate with cross-functionally to facilitate a deep understanding of device functionality and failures and to perform in-depth root cause analysis.
- Acquire, analyze, and interpret information from data logs and various applications as well as perform physical deconstruction of devices as part of Root Cause Analysis.
- Design and execute experiments and test methods to test theories to refine failure modes and determine root cause.
- Work within cross-functional internal and external teams to investigate device field complaints and provide solutions to resolve complaints in a timely manner.
- Perform failure analysis of mechanical and electromechanical medical devices using various types of test equipment, fixtures, and software tools and write analysis reports.
- Use applicable quality tools (Root cause analyses), ensure timely, accurate, and complete failure investigations of product complaints leading to the root cause and corrective/preventive action and ensure that all activities are documented in the complaint management system.
- Organize/lead cross-functional teams to analyze complaint trend data and drive updates to applicable risk management documentation as needed.

- Demonstrate a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality by maintaining compliance to the Quality Policy and all other documented quality processes and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Knowledge and ability to use statistical methods such as trend analysis, pareto and other charting techniques
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years relevant experience with 2 of those years as leadership experience
- Strong verbal, written communication skills, both technical and conversational
- Decision making and negotiation skills, individually and within groups
- Experience in managing multiple projects across multiple organizational disciplines
- Experience in failure analysis

Compensation for non-exempt (hourly), non-sales roles may also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
