Reporting Relationship: Head Coach, Cheer Team

Department: Intercollegiate Athletics-IWU Marion

Campus Location: Recreation & Wellness Center, Marion, IN

Summary of Position:    A Graduate Assistant Coach for the Sideline Cheer Club Team

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide instruction to student-athletes by showing techniques and working to improve performance during practice and games 
• Provide feedback on individual workouts and group practice 
• Assist in recruiting new team members and retaining current athletes 
• Overseeing team travel 
• Preparing for games
• Identifying skills and weaknesses
• Fulfilling other duties as needed
