A stress-free, beautiful drive north out of the desert, through the Valley foothills, along the Maztazal Mountains takes you to the crest of the hill where you capture your first view of the majestic Mogollon Rim, shimmering in the distance at an altitude of 7000 feet. Famed golf designers Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish were given first priority to create the finest golf course corridors on the forested property. POSITION OVERVIEW

The Rim is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated leader who can elevate the golf experience to the highest standards for all members and guests. The Head Golf Professional at The Rim is the golf ambassador of the Club and must possess the highest levels of integrity, professionalism and diplomacy.  He or she will directly manage all areas of the golf operation and work closely with the Golf Superintendent, and all other department heads, while reporting to the General Manager/COO. 

The Head Professional will be a strategic leader of the golf experience and must be a person of vision, planning, and business acumen. He or she is expected be an exceptional leader and manager who recognizes and respects the contributions of volunteer members and staff of all levels. The Head Golf Professional will be the face of the golf operation and will be expected to promote an exceptional golf experience and deliver creative services and programs for all of our members and guests.

CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS

• PGA professional with a demonstrated track record of providing exceptional service in a private membership environment.
• Minimum of 3 to 6 years of progressive leadership and golf management experience.
• Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Golf Management but not required.
• A track record of working closely and successfully in a club setting, while providing leadership and partnership with the General Manager/COO
• Proven track record in program and player development working with all levels of playing ability to grow the game.
