Location: VHP Street Medicine - Allentown, PA
Job Summary: Valley Health Partners (VHP) Street Medicine delivers primary and urgent health care to persons experiencing homelessness in the Lehigh Valley. The team utilizes a holistic patient-led approach to not only provide high-quality health care but also address barriers to health care access. Provides assistance with various healthcare services following established policies and protocols including, but not limited to, obtaining specimens, conducting routine lab studies, and assisting with administrative functions as a member of the clinical care delivery team under the direction of an LPN, RN or medical provider.
Preferred qualifications: Associate's degree in Medical Assistant Program, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Greater than 2 years in Physician Office / Clinical Setting. Certified Medical Assistant. Bilingual English/Spanish. Certifications: CPR

Additional Requirements for Street Medicine:
Walking on uneven ground
Reliable vehicle – appropriate in all weather
Comfortable working outside in all weather conditions
Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Able to lift and carry 25 to 40 pounds.
Minimum qualifications: Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program.
