Software Engineer

Software engineer position to support the development and indexes to aid in the ingestion and management of a large volume of data.

Required Qualifications

• TS/SCI with Agency Appropriate Polygraph
• Bachelors degree

Required Technical Skills

• Demonstrated minimum five years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying Java code to a production environment (from scratch, i.e. not just tweaking existing code, O&M, etc.)
• Demonstrated minimum two years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying big data solutions to a production environment - prefer experience with ALL three listed below:
• Hadoop or Spark
• Solr*
• Hbase
• Demonstrating at least two years of experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying cloud-based solutions (applicant should list cloud technologies used)
• These experiences can be in conjunction with the big data and java experience requirements listed above
• Demonstrated experience (and willingness) to undergo the pull request process where every technical task/code deliverable undergoes nearly full code coverage (i.e. unit testing) and a peer review before deployment to a non-production environment

Desired Technical Skills

• AWS Developer Certification
