General Surgery Advanced Practice Provider

About this role:
As a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in General Surgery, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. In this role you will round on pediatric and adult patients at Logan Regional Hospital and treat patients with appendicitis, cholecystitis, hernias, trauma, SBOs, diverticulitis and provide wound care. You will also perform bedside procedures, i.e. CVLs, chest tubes, dialysis catheters, etc.
- This position includes up to $7,500 in relocation assistance when applicable
- You will practice at Budge General Surgery Clinic in Logan, Utah and first assist in surgeries at Logan Regional Hospital
- You will work (4) days per week and will be on call will be on call 1-2 call weekends per month
- You will see 10 – 16 patients per day in the clinic once fully oriented

What you’ll bring:
• APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program, required
• AANP or AAPA certification, required
• Previous surgical and hospital experience, preferred
• Prior experience first assisting in the OR, preferred
• Active, unobstructed Utah license, or the ability to obtain one, required
• BLS, ACLS, ATLS certification, DEA Active, unobstructed Utah medical license or the ability to obtain one, required
• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process, required
