Job Description:

Develop and maintain an understanding of requirements and priorities unique to the role of Clinical Leader for the GU Disease Site Group activities, coordinate meetings across UF and external to UF. Develop and maintain an understanding of requirements and priorities unique to the GU Site Group role, coordinate activities with the Cancer Center. Independently manage projects, make travel arrangements and manage travel budgets. Provide administrative support for ongoing ad hoc committee and meetings, maintain calendars, screen and triage requests for appointments, prepare letters and reports, coordinate activities for local, state, regional, national and international professional organizations meetings/conferences.  Assure all materials necessary for meetings are  prepared and provided in advance. Schedule meetings.

Develop and maintain an understanding of requirements and priorities unique to the Chief of Urologic Oncology, coordinate activities.Independently manage projects, make travel arrangements and manage travel budgets. Provide administrative support for ongoing ad hoc committee and meetings, maintain calendars, screen and triage requests for appointments, prepare letters and reports, coordinate activities for local, state, regional, national and international professional organizations meetings/conferences.  Assure all materials necessary for meetings are prepared and provided in advance. Schedule meetings.

Serves as administrative assistant to assigned faculty. This position manages calendars, contact lists, coordinates meetings, prepares schedules for clinic/OR attending commitments, maintains administrative records, composes and/or reviews correspondence and/or other documents, screens confidential mail and telephone calls, handles all confidential correspondence, maintains and organizes filing system including confidential information, handles travel arrangements including travel authorizations and expense reimbursements. Balances PDA, grant accounts.  Prepares itineraries, travel arrangements, TA’s and ER’s for visiting guests, proposed faculty members and guest lecturers as falls in scope of work.

Responsible for hospital credentialing and/or re-credentialing for assigned faculty members and reappointment of current Urology faculty at UF and the VA. This involves obtaining the credentials packet and working with the administrative staff and the faculty members to ensure the packet is complete and ready to submit for committee review and approval. Keep assigned faculty members updated on expiration dates for medical and DEA licenses. Track CME credit to insure faculty members have met license renewal CME requirements.

Other duties as assigned.

Expected Salary:

$21.45 - $23.15

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent and seven years of relevant experience. Appropriate college course work or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient with MS Office, WordPress and Adobe Photoshop a plus. Familiar with social media and email marketing.
