Inventory Clerk (Warehouse Dry Storage) -2nd Shift Full Time - Newbern, TN 38059

Job Details:

This position starts at $22.85/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift and potential for overtime.  We have an open position for second shift.

Job Description

• Responsible for supplying departments with the necessary supplies for production while also adhering to good safety practices, food safety policies, and company policies. 
• Responsible for cycle count procedures
• Responsible for housekeeping of dry storage area and for inventory of all dry goods. 
• All employees are responsible for upholding the principals of SQF 2000.

Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

• Must be willing and able to unload all trucks of production supplies. 
• Must be willing and able to respond quickly to all production needs, and to support materials facilitator manager, supervisor, analyst with decisions and assistance. 
• Must be willing and able to receive all dry goods for facility in SAP accurately using Thin Client, VMU and RF scanner. 
• Must be willing and able to support operation of box machine and film splicer.
• Perform various other tasks assigned by Manager, Supervisor and Analyst. 
• Must be willing and able to meet guidelines for Safe Lifting Program. 

• Must be willing and able to become a licensed tow motor driver and complete LOTO certification. 
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. 
• Must have basic and working computer knowledge. 
• Must have ability to communicate effectively with company employees and all levels of management. 
• Must have the ability to work overtime and during weekends. 
• Flexible start time based upon business need.  
• Must be able to maintain prompt and regular job attendance. 
• Must be willing and able to work with minimal to no supervision.
• Must be willing and able to occasionally work 2nd shift when required. 
• Must be willing and able to perform the assigned tasks for periods of 8 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.  
• Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
• High School diploma/GED preferred but not required.

Must have at least 3 months previous work experience with a single employer within the last 18 months.  This facility does not accept rehires.
