About the role

Primary Purpose 

The primary purpose of the Operations Strategist is to support the clinical operations of the assigned market within the Work Campus Care division, ensuring high-quality patient services for both external clients and internal stakeholders. This position works closely with market leaders and clinical leadership to enhance patient, teammate, and client experiences. Additionally, the role is responsible for optimizing departmental financial, operational, and care delivery performance while supporting regional initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiencies in the Employer Based Clinics, Occupational Medicine services, and LiveWell programs across the market.

Major Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with market leaders to drive operational, financial, and care delivery improvements, ensuring high-quality patient services and client satisfaction in the assigned market.
  • Coordinate and lead administrative and business operations within the market, focusing on KPI tracking, financial performance, and enhancing operational efficiency in Employer based clinics and Occupational Medicine programs.
  • Optimize supply chain and expense management, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance and cost-effective operations.
  • Provide guidance on the development, implementation, and evaluation of practice policies, procedures, standards of care, and patient education programs, improving patient care and experiences.
  • Support leadership in recruitment, credentialing, staff onboarding support, and operational improvements, driving access, value, and improved outcomes for patients and clients in the Market.
  • Tasks to include but not limited to, ordering of supplies and equipment, timekeeping, administrative support, building staff and providers schedules, credential maintenance and support other duties as assigned. 

Minimum Job Requirements 

Education

Bachelor’s degree and/or Five plus years of relevant experience in clinical or practice operations.  

Work Experience 

Five years’ experience in business management, practice operations, project management, program management development, administration or supervisory experience required.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities 

Demonstrates skills in managing healthcare operational procedures that enhance efficiency and regulatory compliance. Continuously evaluates and improves processes to streamline workflows and promote high-quality patient care.

Proficient in managing departmental budgets, tracking expenditures, and ensuring financial accuracy. Assist with cost-saving measures and optimize operational performance.

Skilled in managing vendor relationships, supply chain processes, and equipment procurement to ensure timely and cost-effective operations. Oversees contract negotiations and compliance to maintain high standards across clinic operations.

Experienced in recruiting and onboarding healthcare providers, ensuring seamless integration into clinic operations. Manages credentialing processes to meet regulatory standards and minimize delays in service delivery.

Identifies opportunities for operational improvements and implements solutions to enhance overall clinic performance

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions 

This position requires the ability to sit, stand, and move throughout the day, as well as occasional travel to clinic locations, which may involve lifting light materials and prolonged periods of driving or being on-site.
