Leveraged Finance is responsible for arranging, structuring, underwriting and executing a variety of financing transactions for Private Equity clients. The opportunity

The role is based in Stockholm and you will be part of our pan-Nordic team of highly skilled professionals who always walk the extra mile to provide our clients with best possible advice and service.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Take ownership and lead origination efforts for specific projects and clients
• Have an active part in our dedicated sponsor coverage efforts across products and services
• Lead a deal team conducting fundamental credit analysis and due diligence
• Interact with management teams, private equity sponsors and Nordea internal stakeholders
• Drive high quality transaction materials, including credit memorandums, pitches and other presentations and marketing materials
• Provide input on or lead negotiations and work with legal counsels to ensure appropriate structuring / documentation
• Support monitoring of a large LBO portfolio, contributing to reporting and quarterly management updates

As a team member within Leveraged Finance, you are expected to be driven and solutions oriented and have a strong motivation to perform. 

Desired skills and experience:

• Excellent origination and credit skills demonstrated through prior relevant experience (6-10 years), ideally in underwriting, structuring, and executing leveraged finance transactions
• Ability to direct the debt structuring of a transaction, manage the transaction process with internal and external parties
• Strong skill set in financial modelling and legal documentation, project management and client coverage
• Motivated team player, ability to lead a team and be flexible in approach with interest to work independently
• Open-minded, intellectual honesty with an ability to adapt to coverage of different financing products
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to present ideas in a clear, concise and constructive manner
