Overall Purpose
The Sr. Director of Bank Channel Marketing leads the development and execution of the Zelle® bank marketing strategy. This high-impact leadership role is responsible for shaping the way the Zelle® brand connects with consumers through our extensive network of banks and credit unions, including owner banks, direct banks, and resellers.
Essential Functions
Leads end-to-end bank channel marketing strategy, working closely with financial institution partners across owner banks, direct banks, and resellers.
Develops and executes strategic marketing initiatives that drive consumer engagement and brand growth through partner institutions.
Owns the partner marketing portal, ensuring it delivers value through accessible, up-to-date, and high-impact marketing resources.
Manages relationships and collaborates with internal creative teams and external agencies to deliver high-quality, co-branded campaigns and programs.
Develops and leads a scalable marketing services business, providing tools, resources, and consultation to help partners amplify Zelle® marketing.
Leads planning and execution of customer-facing events, conferences, and forums, strengthening engagement across the bank network.
Manages a high-performing marketing team; provides mentorship and operational oversight.
Acts as a senior leader and trusted advisor on all matters related to bank marketing strategy, tactics, and partner engagement.
Supports the company’s commitment to risk management and protecting the integrity and confidentiality of systems and data.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and experience typically obtained through completion of a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business or related field. Advanced degree is preferred.
15 or more years of marketing leadership experience in payments, consumer lending, or financial services for a bank or network. Experience working in a leadership role for a consulting firm is required.
Proven success in partner or network marketing and managing complex, matrixed relationships.
Deep understanding of marketing within a highly regulated environment.
Prior leadership experience including hiring top talent, motivating team performance, and providing developmental opportunities to grow team.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage external agencies.
Experience building and scaling new businesses.
Exceptional strategic thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Experience with event marketing and partner-facing customer events.
Background and drug screen.

Physical Requirements
Working conditions consist of a normal office environment. Work is primarily sedentary and requires extensive use of a computer and involves sitting for periods of approximately four hours. Work may require occasional standing, walking, kneeling and reaching. Must be able to lift 10 pounds occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently. Requires visual acuity and dexterity to view, prepare, and manipulate documents and office equipment including personal computers. Requires the ability to communicate with internal and/or external customers.
The base pay scale for this position in:
New York, NY in USD per year is: $220,000 - $260,000.
Additionally, candidates are eligible for a discretionary incentive plan and benefits.
