About the role

Overview

The Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst delivers excellent support for all HR systems across the Dartmouth Health system.  They are responsible for overseeing, updating, and maintaining our HRIS systems and databases, as well as generating reports and providing system support and training.  They identify trends, issues, and opportunities that can inform HR and business decisions. The HRIS Analyst has many responsibilities; the key role is to ensure the data integrity of the organization’s HRIS system.

 

For this search, priority will be given to candidates with experience in PeopleSoft; experience with benefits administration would be beneficial.

 

This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, fully remote benefited position, working Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.  This role requires working hours aligned with the Eastern Time Zone, regardless of location.

Responsibilities

  • Performs application upgrades, as well as provides training and technical support
  • Develops and implements new processes and systems for efficient HR management
  • Optimizes HRIS processes, integrate new software, and perform diagnostic tests
  • Performs statical analysis on gathered HRIS data and runs queries
  • Ensures the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including employee and non-employee data
  • Performs audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required
  • Keeps track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned
  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years related experience required.
    • Prior experience in PeopleSoft preferred with consideration regarding other HR Systems experience
    • Experience with enterprise application data administration, setup, and testing preferred.
    • Basic understanding of end user support through personal interaction and training
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential.
    • Solid understanding of Excel and other Microsoft applications
