This is a hybrid role that requires a minimum of 8 days per month on-site at the nearest Wolters Kluwer office within a commutable distance anywhere in the United States. The location requirement provided is subject to revision and modification at any time due to business demands.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a strong CX/UX Research Consultant to join our growing UX team in Wolters Kluwer Tax & Accounting North America. Under leadership of the Manager of CX/UX Design for Tax & Accounting North America, you’ll have the opportunity to join a very talented group of UX professionals and will collaborate with UX Designers, product managers, developers and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that empower accounting professionals and teams to work more effectively and efficiently.
For this position, you will need to have a strong research background, effective communication and storytelling skills, and the ability to drive product vision and strategy based on user and market insights. You will need to be innovative, challenging the status quo and inspiring new ideas to disrupt the market.

NOTE: A portfolio is not required, but a case presentation to articulate your ability to scope research and communicate findings is expected during the interview process.
Required Job Qualifications (minimum):
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant discipline (Design, HCI, Behavioral Sciences, or related field) AND 2+ years User Experience Research or related research experience
OR Master's Degree in a relevant discipline (Design, HCI, Behavioral Sciences, or related field) AND 1+ years User Experience Research or related research experience
OR Doctoral Degree in a relevant discipline (Design, HCI, Behavioral Sciences, or related field)
Excellent communication, facilitation, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Strong knowledge or expertise in UX design principles, design thinking, Lean UX, and qualitative/quantitative research methods
Desire to learn and grow with the team
Well versed in analyzing qualitative and quantitative research data with the ability to produce well-written deliverables (findings reports, presentations, UX artifacts, etc.) that translate empirical data into compelling insights and product recommendations
Proficient with Miro or similar design collaboration tools

Other Qualifications (preferences):
NN/g UX certification or credits towards certification
Demonstrated skill in collecting and analyzing human behavioral data to inform UX and product strategy in a technology industry setting
Experience collecting and reporting user data from Pendo or other analytics tools
Experience impacting product direction on products leveraging AI and large language models (LLMs)
