Senior IT Consultant (m/f/d)

We are looking for an IT Consultant strengthening our R&D IT department and enabling our 5G R&D teams in Linz and Munich with state-of-the-art IT infrastructure for our SW/FW/HW/Chip development.

• Implement Bridgecom’s global IT strategies in the EU, serving as the key expert in IT operations
• Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of our IT systems and Network Infrastructure in the EU
• Work closely with SW/FW/HW/Chip Design & Development Engineering Teams to meet their IT and DevOps needs.
• Develop and maintain IT infrastructure to ensure secure and effective collaboration with external IP and development partners in Europe and beyond
• Manage data center and network infrastructure to support the company's growing engineering operations in Europe.
• Procure and deploy IT Compute equipment for the engineering teams in the EU.
• Manage external IT service providers in the EU region.
• Ensure all IT systems comply to local regulations and prioritize security.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience in IT Network Infrastructure and DevOps operations as a hands-on key expert, ideally in a startup or high-growth environment
• Strong proficiency in Linux/UNIX system administration, including installation, configuration, and maintenance
• Experience with self-hosted configuration management and collaboration tools such as Jama, BugZilla, GitLab
• Expertise with build automation and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash and Python for automation tasks
• Familiarity with IT deployment of EDA tools like Cadence, Synopsys is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments and countrie
• Ability to work in an international environment and manage IT systems across multiple locations.
• Prior experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
