The Engineering Prototyping & Fabrication department is seeking Software Engineers to work in an engineering environment to co-develop engineering software and hardware in accordance with customer and internal requirements, as well as industry standards. Candidates will collaborate with multi-disciplined design teams across multiple projects to bring design concepts to fruition, providing rapid engineering, fabrication, and prototyping solutions throughout the entire product lifecycle.
 

What You Will Do:

• Architect, design, and integrate software solutions
• Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Engineering Prototyping and Fabrication shop (The Bike Shop).
• Enforce code reviews and team adherence to software configuration management (CM).
• Mentor junior software developers.

What You Will Learn:

• System level knowledge of developmental programs.
• Experience working across multi-disciplined group of engineers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Integration experience including hardware, software and/or firmware.
• Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, and/or spectrum analyzers.
• he ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:
 

• Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as C#, Python, C, C++, LabVIEW, TestStand, ATEasy.
• Experience designing, building, integrating and modifying complex test stations, GUIs, and embedded applications.
• Knowledge of or experience with Azure dev op, including scrum and git repository experience.
• Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly, cable assembly/installation and/or electronics maintenance.
• Strong organization, coordination, planning, teaming skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
• Knowledge of networking and IP addressed based equipment.
• Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude.
• Able to work and interface with a cross-discipline team.
• Familiar with various communication interfaces such as RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, CAN, 1553.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
