Accounts Payable Manager

Purpose:

To supervise, monitor, assist and evaluate the activities and performance of the Accounts Payable staff.

Qualifications:

• Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
• Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status
• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Must possess management experience in Accounts Payable
• Must possess strong computer skills
• Experience with Solomon, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook applications preferred

Essential Functions

• Responsible for processing the monthly recurring vouchers and ensures that all information is accurate before releasing the batch
• Responsible for ensuring vendors being paid meet organizational requirements and have current contracts while coordinating with the Purchasing &         Procurement department
• Responsible for researching and resolving questions related to Company approved vendors
• Responsible for providing information requested from external auditors
• Assist in reconciling monthly credit card statements and monitor all transactions
• Prepares daily outgoing payment schedule on a monthly basis and distributes to Cash Manager
• Responsible for the preparation and submittal 1099 tax forms as needed
• Performs all other duties as assigned
