This role is remote in Poland. We are only able to accept applications for those based in Poland or have sponsorship to live and work in Poland.
What you'll do at Jamf At Jamf we have a unit of several Cloud Engineering teams that underpin the entire product portfolio. Some of us work from one of our offices - Brno, Katowice and London - and others are partially or fully remote. We deploy our solutions on the best cloud providers - AWS, GCP and Azure. Our infrastructure is declared with Terraform and configured with Puppet. We build and maintain over 30 K8s and K3s clusters all around the world with Rancher at the helm of it. You will join our a unit who is responsible for providing K8s as a service to all our development teams. The unit has two key responsibilities: on one hand we need operate (upgrade, maintain, etc) all those clusters and make sure that they are ready to scale way beyond our current usage. On the other hand, we have to continuously keep an eye out for what improvements, innovations and development of automation tools that we can bring to the table as well as look for way to lower the maintenance cost of our existing infrastructure. What we need from you You were born a tinkerer but over time you became an Engineer (with capital `E`). Perhaps you were a Sysadmin in a previous life who came to love Kubernetes and is now wondering, what’s next? The command line has no secrets for you, you have a keen eye for automation and the cloud is your second home.
- You have experience working alongside developers and understand their language and needs. You are happy to help them understand how to run microservices at scale.
- You have over 3Y of experience working with Kubernetes.
- You have several years of experience with Linux.
- You will be comfortable in AWS (but experience with other public cloud providers will be a nice plus).
- We build infrastructure with Terraform and configure it with Puppet. We use EKS and Golang - experience with these technologies is desirable.
