As part of the Worldwide Pharmaceutical Operations – Pfizer, this individual will report directly to Field Reimbursement Team Leader.

The Migraine Field Reimbursement Lead will perform their duties under the strategic vision of the Pfizer Migraine Account Team Plan and compliance standards.

It will be this person’s role and responsibility to establish and maintain strong and lasting relationships with US Reimbursement and Payment Organizations/Agencies assuring that payment policy does not impede access to Pfizer's portfolio and inform/educate internal stakeholders on industry trends with coverage and reimbursement of products.

What You Will Achieve

Their main role is to be the subject matter experts on reimbursement and coverage issues affecting Pfizer products and to use that expertise to ensure appropriate patient access to Pfizer products.

Provide interpretive guidance and strategic insight to various internal Pfizer stakeholders as to the impact of potential reimbursement issues.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • Minimum 7-10 years Pharmaceutical industry experience typically within the fields of pharmaceutical sales and patient access, coding and reimbursement.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of Migraine experience, preferably within the Pharmaceutical/ Biopharmaceutical sectors, Provider/Carrier Networks, or Government Agency. Reimbursement and Access experience is a must. Strong understanding of Migraine Reimbursement, Government Payment Systems, Provider/Carrier Networks, Co-Pay Assistance Programs, and knowledge of the Migraine policy dynamics that exist in the related patient community.

  • Experience demonstrating exceptional communication and presentation skills, strategic planning and success in implementation of this plan to bring a return on investment. This individual must also have demonstrated leadership and success at working across internal boundaries and be able to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to coordinate various unique objectives.

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a highly regulated environment and adhere to strict company compliance guidelines and procedures. Proven track record of collaborating broadly with a diverse range of customers, clients, and stakeholders. Training in and experience in responsible business communication both written and spoken.

  • B.S. Degree is required and additional certification in coding and reimbursement is preferred.

  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $139,100.00 to $231,900.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
