Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks a Staff Software Development Engineer in Test in San Francisco, CA to develop new and existing software products and write framework and tools to test products. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience building frameworks for automation testing. Must include at least five (5) years of progressively responsible experience performing rigorous technical analysis and effort estimation; working with Python and technical and functional aspects related to the process; performing automation testing, functional testing, regression testing, SIT testing, UAT testing and DB testing; in executing duties, utilizing software testing, test automation using a modern functional or OO programming language, CI/CD, Agile tracking tools including Jira, White-box and black-box testing of software, HTTP, Linux, and Mac operating systems; and utilizing Scrum and other Agile development methodologies. At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
