Senior Implementation EngineerWhat does a successful Senior Implementation Engineer do at Fiserv?
You will develop, manage, and showcase innovative solutions to complex business problems that leverage the Finxact Core APIs and technical features. With a focus on ensuring customer success, the Implementation Engineer’s primary role is to provide technical consulting to clients and serve as a subject matter expert on the Finxact Core APIs and integration points. In addition, the Implementation Engineer role encompasses all components of client implementations, training, overall product feedback and client support. When clients present vendors that are not already integrated to the Finxact core, you will provide consultative guidance on how the vendor can be integrated into the ecosystem. Most importantly though, you will consult the client on best practices regarding integration models, workflows and you will support the client’s users through onboarding to help them get the most out of the solution you helped design.
What you will do:
- Obtain and maintain an in-depth understanding of Finxact’s technology and its underlying architecture
- Work with clients to solve complex business problems, trouble shooting, and using the Finxact Core and its surrounds
- Communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences
- Interface directly with ecosystem partners, clients, and internal teams to promote the adoption of our product
- Support the technical design process by participating in the analysis of technical application and client ecosystem requirements
- Assist in analysis that will identify requirements related to people, processes, and technology.
- Develop and code core functionality and interfaces for our solution
- Participate in execution and documentation of tests
- Assist in the deployment process for client implementations
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years professional experience in API and software development
- 2+ years of experience programming functional, imperative or object-oriented languages
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, work, and military experience
What would be great to have:
- Financial industry experience and knowledge of Golang programming
- Stellar communication, collaboration, problem-solving and accountability skills
How you'll work:
This role requires use of a computer and audio equipment.
This role requires frequent travel
