Clerk - Part-Time - County Clerk's Office - Courts Division

Provides administrative/clerical service and support to the department.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with maintaining files, data entry, scans and copies documents as needed. 
• Provides professional and courteous assistance to both internal and external customers; receives and distributes correspondence for the department. 
• Collects mail, transports documents to other offices. 
• Provides general support and assistance to the staff. 
• Maintains confidentiality and security of documents and data. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma/GED.
• 1 year job related experience. 
• Strong computer skills and proficient in data entry.
• good verbal and written communication skills. 
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively with the public, other employees, and elected officials. 
• Valid Texas Driver License.  

STARTING SALARY: $15.00 per hour, Up to 29 hours per week

CLOSING DATE: Upon filling position
