In search of a Project Data Coordinator (office)

As a data lab coordinator, you are responsible for the data and deliverables of the project. You will oversee the data management and ensure the project gets delivered on time, within budget and within the highest standards.

Your main tasks will be:

• You will ensure the Project is delivered on time, fulfilling the agreed and defined specifications and within the specified budget (along with the support from the Project Manager) (Quality – Time – Budget)

• You lead data technical discussions and management aspects of the full project cycle. This from the commercial handover and project preparation, throughout the project execution and close out.

• You are responsible for QA/QC coordination and data flows management from raw to final products and reports.

• You set up working (processing and data) flows to maximize the project efficiency and the project specifications fulfilment.

• The Data Coordinator will support the data processing onboard, will follow the processing in the office and in subcontractors’ facilities when applicable.

• You take care of the Project Processing Manpower and License plan and update any deviations from the initial plan.

• The Data Coordinator will also oversee the overall data management of the project.

• You will report on the progress of the project and outstanding topics to the Project Manager.

What do we expect from you?

• You have five years of experience in surveying, as geophysicist or geologist or any related subject with marine projects (offshore/nearshore) under the processing/interpretation/geotechnics/geomodelling and/or GIS domains.

• You obtained a Bsc in surveying, geology, oceanography, marine engineering, geophysics, geotechnical engineering or any related subject.

• You have excellent English skills, both spoken and written.

• You have high communication and organizing skills.

• You possess advanced skills in GIS software and some processing software.

• You obtained knowledge of data/processing/reporting flows and data project phases in the marine industry.
