INTENSIVE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH SERVICES Full-Time Therapist
Gemma Services has an IBHS program operating out of our new Mt. Airy location. The Therapist will be responsible for providing professional assessment, treatment planning, individual and family therapy, and group psychotherapy services to children and their families in their home, school and/or community. They will complete the initial comprehensive assessment as required by the IBHS regulations for children referred and coordinate appropriate referrals for group therapy with the school and agency staff. They will collaborate with school staff to develop strong relationships with assigned schools. The majority of this position will be required to provide therapy (Individual, group, and family) in a variety of schools within Gemma’s IBHS specific assigned schools.
This position requires some minimal evening and weekend hours to meet specific client needs. This position will be focused on clients attending school in Northeast Philadelphia and assigned high schools local to our office in Mt. Airy.
Applicants must have a master’s degree in social work or a related human service field and a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth, or young adults. Professional License (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred. Experience in providing Evidence-Based Practices preferred (CBT, CBITS/Bounce Back).
