About the role
Position Description
Performs basic daily gage calibration and mastering, completing quality audits, operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other gaging as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of quality checks on manufactured parts. Reviews Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts and communicate findings
- Communicates non-conforming product
- Generates and maintains documentation and revision control of quality related data
- Supports manufacturing functions related to quality including issuing quality alerts, creating visual standards, and tracking non-conforming materials
- Sets gauges and insure they work properly. Verifies calibration of gauge equipment
- Performs other duties as assigned
Job Skills Requirements
- Basic computer skills required
- Good teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills
- Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location
Education
High School diploma in equivalent education and experienceExperience Requirements
Quality experience preferred
Physical & Environmental Requirements
May be required to lift or carry product parts, and/or other materials of various smaller sizes and weights up to 17 lbsAbility to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours)Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours)Exposure to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours)Quality Coordinator C
