Senior Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations for the Display Division. Reporting directly to the SVP of Supply Chain, this individual will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives, fostering supplier partnerships, and ensuring operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of managing complex supply chains, implementing innovative solutions, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute the company’s supply chain strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Identify and implement best practices to enhance supply chain efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and responsiveness.
Operations Management:
- Oversee demand planning, procurement, inventory management, and distribution functions.
- Optimize supply chain workflows, ensuring seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to drive performance improvements and achieve service level agreements (SLAs).
- Mitigate supply chain risks by diversifying sources and ensuring contingency plans are in place.
Customer and Vendor Relationships:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with B2B counterparts for collaboration and negotiations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal factories, key suppliers, and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and ensure adherence to quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team.
- Manage process, operations and budgeting for outsourced indirect reports.
- Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Technology and Innovation:
- Leverage advanced analytics, AI, and supply chain technologies to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, including ERP and supply chain management system upgrades.
Skills and Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain best practices, trends, and technologies (Home Appliance industry experience preferred)
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale operations.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in supply chain software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive data-informed decisions.
- Proficiency in the Korean language is desirable, but not mandatory.
