This is a full-time, salaried position with a range starting at $55K-60K DOE plus benefits.The position will work out of our busy Corporate Office in Downtown Albuquerque.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Month-end closing of multiple hotel property financials
• General Ledger account reconciliations and journal entry preparation
• Prepare and/or maintain spreadsheets and supporting schedules
• Payroll and payroll accrual entries into General Ledgers
• Posting of inter-company billings and payments
• Calculation of gross receipts and lodgers tax liabilities
• Complex bank reconciliations
• Assistance with year-end close process
• Providing guidance to hotel property accounting managers
• Other related duties and participation in special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Must be well versed in Quick Books.
• Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) or similar software.
• A proven track record which includes a minimum of 2-3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• High school diploma required, college degree in business or accounting a plus.
• Must be self-motivated, punctual, and efficient in handling work assignments.
• Treasury experience a plus.
• Must be to work with sensitive and confidential material with discretion and confidentiality.
• Ability to bring positive, creative energy to the job, while being a self-starter, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
