Your potential is waiting; why are you?</p><p></p><p>Job Title: Senior Product Designer (UX)<br/>Department &amp; Team: UX<br/>Reports to: Jason Toth<br/>Location: Hungary</p><p></p><p>In this role the primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to): </p><ul><li><p>Create digital assets that effectively communicate product function and intent, user interaction, and screen hierarchy. </p></li><li><p>Produce user requirements specifications, conceptual models, personas, storyboards/scenarios, flow charts, conceptual sketches, wireframes, IAs, design prototypes, and visual design artifacts. </p></li><li><p>Design and specify user interfaces using participatory and iterative design techniques, including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of requirements discovery. </p></li><li><p>Participate in product and feature ideation and conceptual development for web and mobile solutions, also taking into account responsive design considerations. </p></li><li><p>Participate as a design lead to cross-functional teams that include: creative leads; designers; project managers; product managers; software developers; and QA. </p></li><li><p>Effectively communicate design decisions to product teams, users, and leadership teams. </p></li><li><p>Keep up with evolving design trends, technologies and best practices. </p></li><li><p>Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time. </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Required Qualifications </p><ul><li><p>B.S or M.S. in any of the following: HCI, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Visual Design, and/or related fields. </p></li><li><p>5+ years proven experience designing software applications for a global audience. </p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of interaction design processes and methodologies, particularly as applied to desktop &amp; mobile products. </p></li><li><p>Thrive in a fast paced work environment that requires independent self-direction with an aptitude for team collaboration and open communication. </p></li><li><p>Proactive and takes ownership for producing positive results. </p></li><li><p>Contributes as a valued team member and colleague with leaders at all levels. </p></li><li><p>Demonstrates self-awareness and a desire for continual learning and personal development. </p></li><li><p>Must possess the presentation skills and professionalism to project a professional image, both internally and externally. </p></li><li><p>Have developed UX and/or User Interface (UI) designs for IT professionals. </p></li><li><p>Experience working closely with engineering to champion design at every step. </p></li><li><p>Have an online portfolio showing a mix of UX/UI design experience. </p></li><li><p>Proficient in suite of Adobe tools and/or Sketch. </p></li></ul><p> </p><p>Preferred Qualifications </p><ul><li><p>B.A or M.F.A. in any of the following: HCI, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Visual Design, and/or related fields. </p></li><li><p>Experience in Enterprise SaaS. </p></li><li><p>Experience in Support and/or Call Center business models. </p></li></ul><p></p><p>What do we offer</p><ul><li>The warmest of welcomes: we will make sure you feel part of the Genesys team from day 1.</li><li>The best of both worlds: the stability of a multinational company and the flexibility and speed of a startup company.</li><li>Keep you in the loop: complete support and transparency from our global and local leaders.</li><li>An A-team: talented and experienced professionals you can grow professionally with and an open &amp; inclusive community.</li><li>Career development: we will support your professional growth because your goals are important to us.</li><li>Flexibility: office, remote or hybrid?
