Who We Are
HII Mission Technologies is looking for a Ridge Runner Program Deputy Director able to work in a military exercise environment, specifically training US Special Operations Forces (US SOF). The position will entail providing leadership, management, and supervision to a team of three, and will be responsible for contractor-related Ridge Runner (RR) support for WVNG. The project Manager will directly support the Ridge Runner Program Director at an O4 & O5 officer level. Will facilitate RR government leadership in coordinating, managing, and reporting on Exercise Control Group threats and specialized analytical capabilities for annual exercise execution.
Under the West Virginia Army National Guard (WVNG) supporting Ridge Runner Irregular Warfare Exercise (RRIWX) activities and training out of Camp Dawson. Ridge Runner provides a dynamic and realistic exercise platform for SOCOM as well as corresponding community of interest partners to conduct irregular warfare/resistance operating concepts within the State of West Virginia in addition to other State Partnership Program states. Ridge Runner enables SOF commanders, allies, and partner nations to train on mission essential tasks also to assess readiness while enhancing the nation's strategic irregular warfare capabilities.
What You Will Do
- Exercise planning & coordination
- Oversee execution, direct program support, and monitoring of all U.S. domestic and foreign participants and key stakeholders.
- Will assist the Ridge Runner Director with coordination between, the RR program, academia, and Senate offices for congressional stakeholders and requests.
- Need to be able to prepare & brief at an officer and congressional level that covers Cost, Schedule & Performance.
- Coordinate and provide program deliverables analytics, and reports.
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem-solving with the support team, program managers, and government key stakeholders.
- Assesses project risks, and issues and develops resolutions and mitigation strategies to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.
What We Are Looking For
- 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
- Past experience of coordinating military training exercises, project manning & resource requirements allocation at a project or program management level.
- Experience in coordinating with the defense industry, congressional delegates, and foreign dignitaries. and academia. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Clearance: Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
