Our service powers 1.75 trillion search requests a year or more than 30 billion a week enabling more than 17,000 customers in 150+ countries to build blazing-fast and relevant search and discovery experiences for their in-app users and/or online visitors using any web, mobile or voice device – by surfacing the desired content instantly and at scale.</p> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>5+ years experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer familiar with working with large datasets </li> <li>Direct experience in data and analytics with a demonstrated ability to deliver results </li> <li>Problem-solving mindset, comfortable with complex ambiguous problems </li> <li>Demonstrated ability to investigate and debug data issues and data pipelines Proficiency in SQL, DBT, Python (in order of importance) </li> <li>Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate across technical teams and deal teams to enable data-driven product demos and production applications </li> <li>Passion for excellence and high quality in the finished product, acute attention to detail </li> <li>Ability to quickly learn new concepts and thrive in a dynamic, rapidly-changing environment</li> <li>Understanding of search and ranking performance (IR, NDCG, position bias...)</li> <li>Understanding of ecommerce key performance indicators (CTR, CVR, AOV...)</li> <li>Understanding of web analytics (click streams, user behavior tracking...)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Job Responsibilities</h2> <p>We are seeking a Value Engineering (VE) Data Engineer to help us improve and scale our VE process, delivering analyses to illustrate ROI opportunities for prospective and existing customers. You should have an engineering background and experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams including sales, customers success, solutions architects, product teams, partners and customers. Key responsibilities include operations, support and enhancement of the tools and technology used for Value Engineering. Your role consist of: Improving deal success and customer feature adoption through the systematized application of search performance data. Deal support covering the Value Engineering performance data pipeline and any custom data migration requests, when required. Fixes and future enhancements of the Value Engineering performance data pipeline, the data ingestion pixel tag, and the flat file ETL tools.
