Summary of essential job functions:

• Assist in planning and running activity programs.
• Encourage residents to participate in scheduled activity programs.
• Create a positive atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and fun.
• Befriend residents to encourage resident self-esteem.
• Promote an environment of safety.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all resident care information.
• Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, and the ability to incorporate these every day into all you do with the residents.

Requirements

• Previous work as an Activity Aide or Life Enrichment Assistant experience in senior living care is a plus. 
• Experience in Memory Care is preferred, but we are willing to train the right person.
• Comfortable utilizing Social Media.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete a reference check.
