• Lead and manage a team of data engineers, offering direction, mentorship, and support.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture focused on excellence and continuous improvement.
• Set clear goals and expectations for team members, aligning them with organizational objectives.
• Oversee planning, execution, and delivery of data engineering projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to define project requirements, priorities, and deliverables.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for ETL processes from various sources such as crowdsourcing data, test tools, network statistics, and application logs. Also responsible for developing and maintaining data models and warehouses.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and take proactive measures to mitigate issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain scalable data infrastructure, including pipelines, warehouses, and analytics platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Proven leadership and managerial skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
• Expertise in data engineering concepts, including ETL processes, data modeling, and database systems.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL database systems.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with data processing frameworks like Apache Spark and Apache Hadoop.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of data quality and integrity tools is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Thorough understanding of data security and privacy practices.
