Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking an Assistant Afterschool Director - Pine Jog Education Center, West Palm Beach, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities:

• Responsible for assisting with program operations, administration and clerical support activities.
• Position assists in development and implementation of a School Age Child Care (SACC) program and a summer camp program integrating environmental education.
• Administers billing and collection procedures.
• Recommends policy for program operations and advises faculty/administrators in the unit regarding interpretations, applications, and implementation of new or revised rules, policies, and procedures.
• Negotiates contracts for a variety of services.
• Maintains financial records for the unit providing periodic reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent and four years of appropriate experience required.

Florida Childcare and Education Director Credential required.
