What we want

The Clinical Billing Payment Poster accurately records and reconciles payments from insurance companies and patients into the billing system, ensuring financial records are correct and identifying any payment discrepancies or claim denials.

Salary: Will be commensurate based on the selected hire’s education and experience.   

Location/Schedule: Bryan, TX/Full-Time

Required Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Two years of related experience in clinical billing, medical coding, payment posting, claims processing or related.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or higher in business administration or closely related field.

  • Four years of related experience in clinical billing, medical coding, payment posting, claims processing or related.

  • Experience with revenue cycle management. Experience with Epic EMR

  • AAPC or AHIMA Medical Coding Certification

  • Extensive understanding of medical billing and Texas Medicaid, Familiarity with electronic medical record systems, specifically EPIC; certified billing coder.  Knowledge of TAMU rules and regulations. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Expertise in clinical billing, claims processes and payment posting.

  • Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, general understanding and working knowledge of electronic medical record systems (such as Epic).

  • Knowledge of word processing and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet applications.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal, leadership
