<h3><strong>Transform the communications world! </strong></h3> <p>We’re proud (and excited!) to be transforming the global communications landscape through our Omnichannel Platform-as-a-Service (OPaaS). </p><p> </p> <ul> <li><strong>What’s my job title? </strong>Senior Payroll Specialist</li> <li><strong>What type of contract will I be on?</strong> Initially a fixed-term contract</li> <li><strong>Where in the world? </strong>You can work remotely within the Netherlands with regular visits to our Amsterdam HQ</li> <li><strong>Working hours? </strong>You will operate within the Central European Time zone (CET)</li> <li><strong>What language(s) are required?  </strong>Fluency in English</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>We are looking for a proactive Senior Payroll Specialist to make sure our colleagues receive their compensation and benefits: accurately, efficiently and on time! </p> <p>As our Senior Payroll Specialist, you will work closely with our People Operations, Finance and third party payroll vendors. </p> <p>Challenges include driving payroll automation projects; cooperating and building efficient relationships with local and global third party payroll partners; and launching payroll for new countries fast while complying to local regulation.</p> <p>In this role you will be part of a rapidly-changing, diverse and fast-paced environment. Thriving on change must be part of your DNA!</p> <h3><strong>What you’ll do</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Execute accurate and timely payroll in over 11 countries across EMEA, APAC and LATAM including but not limited to base and variable pay, equity compensation, payroll taxes, statutory and supplemental benefits</li> <li>Work closely with various external payroll service providers while maintaining relevant records and ensure they are up to date</li> <li>Year end wage and payroll tax statement submissions via external payroll providers to ensure compliance </li> <li>Prepare monthly payroll journals and accruals, and monthly payroll reconciliations to all financial statement line items including wage and payroll tax, as well as social security taxes, pensions and leave balances</li> <li>Partner cross-functionally with People and Financial reporting teams in administering payroll activities while delivering top class service to the function and business, while also identifying areas of improvement and opportunities for positive change</li> <li>Monitor data compliance in our HRIS to ensure smooth execution of our Rewards and Benefits programs</li> <li>Document and maintain the payroll procedures manual for each respective country</li> <li>Liaise with external auditors and provide documentation as requested</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What you’ll bring</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Extensive (5+ years') hands-on payroll experience across Europe and other countries, but specifically in the Netherlands</li> <li>Strong communication skills and eagerness the challenge the status quo</li> <li>Highly proactive, organised and able to manage frequently competing priorities</li> <li>Process improvement mindset and problem-solving skills</li> <li>You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Finance or HR</li> <li>Experience with Netsuite and Bamboo HR is a plus, and so is global payroll exposure</li> <li>Fluent written and spoken English</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Interview Process</strong></p> <p>You apply and will hear back from us within a few days.
