Position Summary:

The Supplemental Benefits and Client Success team at CVS is one of the fastest growing business units in the enterprise and is uniquely situated at the center of our retail and healthcare businesses.  We are looking for a Senior Manager to join our team in an essential role as CVS expands its offerings in this space.  The ideal candidate will be highly adaptable and able to excel in a wide variety of areas – including client facing responsibilities, data synthesizing and analytics, internal/external stakeholder management, and retail assortment strategies.  Furthermore, the ideal individual should be self-motivated, demonstrate executive presence, and be able to act as a strategic thought partner to both enterprise leaders and external clients.  In this role, the Senior Manager, Supplemental Benefits and Client Success will work cross-functionally with our inventory, supply chain, retail IT, digital product, marketing, CMX, merchandising, and Store Operations teams.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with directed spend ecosystem partners and clients to build short and long term strategies that align with business and enterprise priorities.
  • Distill and communicate complex concepts into salient opportunities, influencing across and up through a matrixed organization.
  • Drive innovation based on analytics and insights, market trends, competitive landscape, program gaps and white space opportunities while leveraging strong business acumen in retail, health care, technology, or other related fields.
  • Partner across payor, benefit administration and external lines of business to enhance and develop our Supplemental Benefits offering, including OTC Health Solutions and other Supplemental Benefit platforms.
  • Forge new partner relationships with key enterprise healthcare stakeholders across strategy, marketing, and operations.
  • Navigate the day to day of a dynamic entrepreneurial team in a fluid and emerging space while balancing communication needs, stakeholder management, timelines and financial goals of a Fortune 4 company

Additional elements:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in sales support, product/implementation management, and across the enterprise to cultivate opportunity.
  • Gain and leverage account intelligence trends to drive best practices throughout the customer and product lifecycle.
  • Dissect consumer insights and foresee business opportunities quickly to maximize results.
  • Key decision maker and business owner including responsibility for partnership revenue growth.


Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Sales, Retail CPG, Management Consulting / Investment Banking / Private Equity / Health Plans or Account Management
  • Ability to travel on a limited basis.



Preferred Qualifications

  • General Manager experience with strong business acumen and functional understanding across sales, finance or account management
  • Omni-channel experience
  • MBA preferred.

  • MBA preferred.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factor
