Intern, Civil Engineering

What You Can Expect

As the Civil Engineering intern, you will support the team in preparing, designing, and finalizing design layouts and production modeling of ground mount solar (PV) and storage installations. Additionally, you will maintain drafting processes and support continuous improvement of drawing standards across the Engineering team. You will also perform site assessment and land surveying for design development, including the use of drones for data capture. You may also support the development and origination team in RFP engineering work.

 

• Apply building and fire codes to designs in a wide range of jurisdictions
• Check tolerances, dimensions, and feasibility of designs and work with team to resolve conflict

 

 

 

What You’ll Bring                      

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
• A proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project
• Ability to read and interpret technical documentation
• Willingness to learn trends with renewable energy industry and top engineering practices
• Experience within Civil Engineering through real world experiences and/or school projects

 

 

 

Additional Details

• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
• Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies 

 

 

 

Compensation

Hourly Range: $21.00 – $25.00 USD annually

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

 

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
