Schedule Standard work schedule to be provided by leader.
Salary Range $67,028.00 - $90,588.00 Per Year
JOB SUMMARY:
Build and maintain solid relationships with secondary lending sources. Analyze customer information, determine credit worthiness, and package a deal with optimal financing options for presentation to a lender. Provide quotes, submit applications, and obtain finance and lease documents for complex and unusual financing. Communicate and explain all merchandising programs and lender finance options to Empire’s Account Managers and customers. Accompany Account Managers on customer calls as needed. Provide follow-up on pending contracts lists to ensure timely funding of all finance deals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Interact daily with lending institutions to secure optimal financing options for customers.
• Network and help build solid relationships with secondary lending sources.
• Communicate with proper individuals to clarify instructions or discuss scope or progress of sale.
• Follow-up daily on pending contracts lists to ensure timely funding of all finance deals.
• Learn, understand, and be able to communicate and explain all merchandising programs and lender finance options to Empire’s Account Managers and customers.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Learn and use Empire, Caterpillar and allied product procedures and systems.
• Use Caterpillar Financial’s Finance Express system to provide quotes, submit applications, and obtain finance and lease documents.
• Provide input for the creation of merchandising programs on target inventory.
• Act as safeguard to ensure Empire takes advantage of all merchandising and subsidy programs available. Document proper program information and instructions on the sales invoice.
• Travel to remote locations as needed.
• Work within and promote corporate values.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Ability to multi-task and operate effectively in a very fast paced environment.
• Knowledge and skills to operate computers and applicable software programs.
• Appropriate manner, conduct, and grooming adhere to company policy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and sales ability necessary to influence others.
• Ability to analyze and understand sales documents and credit bureau reports and determine credit worthiness.
• Moderate understanding of wholesale and retail equipment values.
• Moderate understanding of customer segment average asset and cash flow values.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
• Strong organizations skills.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
• Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• 4-year College degree or equivalent experience.
• Current driver’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years related experience.
• Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
