Job Description

Summary:

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for organizing and ensuring agreed service levels with internal customers within the Property Management Department.

Responsibilities:

• Assistance and support to the Warehouse and Logistics Team.
• Make effective decisions to ensure most appropriate manner of supply chain coordination (e.g., guide the activities of shipping and receiving worldwide)
• Report logistics KPIs
• Cross functional cooperation with internal customers for overall companies’ operational success.
• Execution of order shipments for deliveries worldwide. (Across Europe, Eastern Europe, USA and South America)
• International LTL, PTL and AVIO shipment coordination, appointing needed Incoterms, track trace shipment statuses
• Performance of import and export orders (including preparing customs documentation, managing agreements with custom brokers in needed country.
• Monitor logistics supplier performance and evaluation, establish and conclude a cooperation agreement and/or change logistics suppliers if necessary.
• Ensure daily logistics operations.
• Perform other duties, as asked by the manager, which are related to this position, and which meet the qualifications.
• Be able to replace team members during their vacations, sick leaves and other absences.
• Ensure and maintain work instruction for respective team, be able to onboard/train new team members.

Qualifications

• Must have experience with South American logistics (required)
• Higher education in logistics or other relevant field.
• At least 2 years’ experience in Logistics. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in worldwide logistics.
• Experience in modern Ecommerce logistics
• Organization of logistics flows around the world (search and selection of effective solutions).
• Good knowledge of both written and spoken English and Georgian. 
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and the ability to independently solve incurred situations.
• Developed logical and mathematical thinking, accuracy.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
