Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Production Equipment Maintenance Manager (Level K) to join the Production Equipment Maintenance Team based out of North Charleston, South Carolina.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) Leadership Team supporting the 787 program. This position is responsible for all production equipment maintenance aspects for the 787 program.

Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employee activities within Production Equipment Maintenance (PEM) organization including equipment maintenance, repair and overhaul, preventive and predictive maintenance, planning and scheduling, projects, contracts, parts provisioning and management, data analytics, and training.

• Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

• Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports

• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

• Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

• Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

• Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation

• 5+ years of experience leading or managing a team

• 5+ years of experience managing projects in a manufacturing environment

• 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining relationships/partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher

• Background in 787 Production Equipment Maintenance and Reliability

• Experience using Maximo CMMS

• Experience as an Onsite Activity Rep (OAR) for Contract Service Providers

Summary Pay Range: $107,950 - $159,000
