We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Salesforce Software Development Engineer in Test to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in both Salesforce applications and the necessary testing tools and principles, ensuring the quality and integrity of our software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that project code is stored in a standardized repository, maintaining consistency and accessibility.
  • Guarantee that our testing framework adheres to the highest programming standards, ensuring software quality and security.
  • Provide comprehensive documentation for the test framework implemented.
  • Strive for zero technical debt on the framework code, ensuring seamless and efficient operations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in languages and technologies including JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Work closely with development teams, reviewing unit test and integration results to ensure maximum coverage.
  • Establish a branching strategy and policies aimed at producing high-quality automation deliverables.
  • Collaborate with our DevOps Engineers to integrate automation scripts seamlessly into the CI/CD pipeline.
  • Utilize WebDriver.io test frameworks effectively for Salesforce project testing.
  • Act as a mentor to the project team, sharing insights on automation best practices and supporting automation backlog efforts.
  • Take on a hands-on role in manual, exploratory, and automation scripts development.
  • Acquire and maintain in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce applications and platform under test.
  • Showcase excellent communication skills, bridging gaps between teams and ensuring clarity.
  • Possess a strong grasp of JavaScript or Typescript, emphasizing scalable code design, and be proficient with node.js and npm commands.
  • Understand and apply test automation principles, including test case independence, credential management, and the nuances of GitHub, among others.
  • Display familiarity with AWS infrastructure, particularly ec2s and S3s, utilizing them for execution and reporting purposes.
  • Understand the principles and tools of DevOps, aiming to integrate the regression suite into an automated CI solution comprehensively.
  • Ensure that all business process steps are thoroughly validated, and business logic behaves as expected.
  • Take a keen interest in validating the impact of code changes, verifying multitabs, and checking elements under frames.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or 6 years of relevant experience
  • 4 years of experience in software automation testing.
  • 1-2 years of experience with Salesforce testing preferred. 
  • Knowledge of WebDriver.io, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS is essential.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience with AWS and DevOps tools is a plus
