Assist the Project Manager(s) with:

• planning, executing, and closing construction projects on time and within budget.
• formal presentations for project (s).
• estimating change orders, reviewing and understanding the entire process according to the owner's contract.
• with tasks such as: change events, change orders, RFI's, submittals, tracking materials, maintaining eBuilder, pay application process, closeout documents, etc.
• create invites and agendas, and facilitate meetings.
• bi-weekly project process reports including cost reports updates, PCO, CO, RFIs, submittals, safety, and schedule reports to executive team leaders.
• conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
• route, track, and resolve information requests.
• preparing project documentation, including reports, schedules, and budgets.
• facilitate communication between project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
• help manage project risks and issue resolution to maintain project timelines.
• track and upload construction drawings and documents, photos, scheduling, etc.

 
Take the lead on small projects. 

• Understand the scope of the project and report progress throughout durations.
• Review and acquire a thorough knowledge of contract documents for each assigned project including, but not limited to project scopes of work, bid drawings and specifications, contracts, subcontractor scopes of work, and construction schedules.
• Learn how to update, project, and manage the financials monthly.
• Learn and apply SOPs, standard operating procedures, to your work.
• Learn the basic principles of the subcontracts and owner contracts by shadowing the PM while navigating payments, changes, claims, etc.

Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

About You

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, or a related field.
• -OR- Project experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis depending on the type of experience.
• Valid Florida driver's license at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:  

• Has PMP certification.

• Formal training and experience with Project Management Institute and Project Management tools.

• Experience in project management software such as; eBuilder, Trimble, or similar construction workflow management, Adobe Pro, Bluebeam, and/or similar tools for creating, editing, marking up, collaborating, and sharing pdf software.

Subject to Passing Substance Screening:  This position is subject to passing a pre-employment substance screening.  An applicant who fails to pass a required drug screening test shall be disqualified from employment for a period of five (5) years. 

CJIS Clearance: **The successful candidate will be subject to an extensive background check(s) as a part of the hiring process.

About Everything Else

Starting Pay Range: $55,577.60 - $59,000.00/ annually, based on experience.
