Position Specific Description
Come join our team and work with a very dynamic Human Resources team! We are seeking an experienced motivated and customer focused professional, who has a passion for people and the energy industry. The Employee Services team is responsible for providing accurate and timely responses to all employees of NextEra Energy Inc. In this role, you will have a chance to collaborate with the HR Operations team and other areas within HR including benefits, compensation, payroll and HR systems.
Work Schedule: (Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. EST) occasional overtime may be required. During emergency situations (such as storms), overtime will be required.
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
• Experience with an employee case management system, Documentum, success factors, and SAP-HR.
• Availability to work a flexible scheduled between 7am and 7pm.

Job Overview
The Senior Human Resource (HR) Service Specialist provides guidance for complex human resource questions and executes transactions to support the organization's structure as well as employee pay and benefits
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs complex tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to organization changes, work authorizations, recruiting, rehires, benefits, payroll, recruiting, compensation, onboarding/offboarding
- Provide solutions to complex issues that impact internal policy and regulatory compliance and recommends process updates to maintain compliance
- Provides coaching and feedback to lower level team members
- Ensures process and quality standards are followed and process interferences and failures are identified and escalated
- Completes audits, supeonas and requests for information
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High School Grad / GED
- Experience: 4+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Professional HR Certification (PHR)
