We are seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant to join our team of dynamic healthcare professionals in all of the Pennsylvania Clinics! This hybrid role offers a flexible work environment, with a few days spent in our Pennsylvania clinics and the opportunity to work from home.

In this position, you will play a key role in overseeing infusion care provided by nurses in our physician-based ambulatory infusion centers in Pennsylvania via telehealth as needed. You will create and maintain individualized care plans for all patients referred to the center, ensuring safe and effective care during infusion procedures. You will also serve as the primary clinical liaison between the referring physician’s office and the infusion center, providing critical support to the team and evaluating patients’ needs throughout the treatment process.

Your expertise will be crucial in delivering compassionate care in accordance with State and Federal regulations, as well as company policies and guidelines, all within your scope of practice.

Compensation:

  • Pay Range: $62.50 - $68.50/hour
  • SIGN ON BONUS: $5,000.00
    • 50% paid at 30 days of start date and 50% Paid at 1 year.

Employment Type, Schedule, FLSA Status:

  • Full-time
  • Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
    • Every other Saturday is required | 7:30am - 4:30pm
    • Must report onsite a minimum of once per month
  • Non-Exempt
  • Must be able to travel to all listed clinic locations.
  • Must be willing to travel for training, which may include out-of-state sessions.
  • Closest location to Candidate will be "Home Clinic"
    • Mileage will be reimbursed for travel to other sites from "Home Clinic."

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and evaluates clinical information provided by referring physician offices and admits appropriate patients for infusion.
  • Evaluates newly referred patients and develops initial plans of care.
  • Monitors plans of care and makes necessary changes
  • Performs pertinent physicals exams with assessment of normal and abnormal findings on new patients and confirms suitability for infusion.
  • Reviews all lab reports provided by the referring physician.
  • Requests diagnostic and lab studies of the referring physician upon evaluation of the patient as needed.
  • Recognizes situations which require the immediate attention of a physician and initiates life-saving procedures when necessary.
  • Consults with the supervising Medical Director as is necessary.
  • Documents infusion orders in the electronic medical record.
  • Dictates or documents notes in the electronic medical record.

Secondary responsibilities:

  • Promotes company quality outcome initiatives.
  • Delegates responsibilities to staff nurses on duty.
  • Follows company policies and CDC guidelines for infection control.
  • Carries out all duties in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provides patient education and answers questions from prospective patients and referring physicians.
