The Job:
As a Director – Global AME Americas/EMEA you’ll be part of our Advanced Manufacturing team working as an onsite employee. You’ll get to:
Lead a Global Advanced manufacturing team with associates located and supporting key SBD regions (US, Europe, Latin America, and Asia) and efforts.
Be the Point of Contact for AME for everything associated in your region and global, including NPD, operational capabilities, capacities, service level support and productivity. Be prepared to discuss projects current status, resolution plans, and issues with all levels of leadership. Highlighting the issues quickly and initially within the AME leadership team.
Deliver solutions for Global manufacturing including EHS solutions, capacity, efficiency, and capabilities to the SBD network.
Drive Productivity efforts in your region, constantly lowering SBD costs while minimizing CAPEX requirements.
Be an integral part of the Operations leadership, anticipating problems (and resolving), exhibiting teamwork/influence and effectively communicating globally.
Support New Product Development with Design for Manufacturing input, developing and approving new processes and assembly system design.
Drive standardization within the manufacturing network, utilizing methodology to continuously improve the cost of solutions – including sourcing options, capability improvements, etc.
Responsible for optimizing, ensuring reliability, and strategically overseeing comprehensive automation solutions, improvements, and support for Tools & Outdoor global manufacturing facilities.
Be the over-arching brand and category lead, ensuring projects are tracking to Schedule, Cost, and Quality goals. Highlighting issues and resource gaps & evaluating the need for specialty technology support within the AME world.
Continuously develop and engage your organization. Training, filling gaps, communicating Goals & Objectives, and upgrading when necessary.
The Person:

10+ years experience of team leadership & advanced problem solving.
Experience working with and leading Global teams in remote locations.
Varied technical background with experience in tools, metals, plastic, electric systems and manufacturing equipment
Strong leadership in cultural change management & managing multiple complex priorities and business connections with direct and indirect stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
This position may require up to 30%+ travel domestic and international.
