How you will make an impact:
The Product Engineering Intern will have the opportunity to work with a collaborative product engineering team to update and refine design drawings, gain exposure to industry-standard CAD software, and learn about the inner workings of product development from start to finish. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills and make meaningful contributions to exciting projects. This position will be onsite at our Meissner Corporate Headquarters located in Camarillo.
- Assist in updating and revising existing design and manufacturing drawings based on physical manufactured products.
- Review and ensure all drawings meet company and department standards, technical specifications, and regulatory guidelines.
- Modify 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on the physical manufactured products.
- Transition legacy 2D and 3D CAD files into Product Engineering’s Data Management System (Vault).
- Help organize and maintain electronic and physical drawing files.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to clarify current design and ensure accurate revisions.
- Ensure version control of items.
- Support the creation of new drawings as needed for prototypes or manufacturing updates.
- Participate in team meetings to discuss updates, issues, and ongoing projects.
This is an on-site role based out of our headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
The skills and experience you’ll need:
- Currently enrolled in a degree Bachelor’s Degree in a synergistic discipline such as Mechanical, Biomedical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
