Job Location: Dallas Campus - Dallas, TX 75204Position Type: Part Time Hourly Non ExemptSalary Range: $16.60 - $20.00Job Category: On CampusJob Summary The Coordinator for Global Initiatives provides logistical and administrative support for the Initiating and Planning phases of strategic global initiatives under the Global Ministries division. Reporting to the Senior Director, the Coordinator ensures that project timelines, communication, and documentation are well-tracked and organized. A key responsibility is building and maintaining Asana project boards to ensure a smooth, well-documented handoff of approved initiatives to implementing departments. The Coordinator helps facilitate communication, follow-up, and document readiness to ensure clarity across all stakeholders Key Responsibilities Project Logistics & Administration- Build and maintain Asana project boards for all active initiatives, ensuring task clarity, timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder roles are clearly documented
- Track deadlines, action items, and follow-ups across multiple initiatives
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics for meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Support the preparation of presentations, agendas, and planning materials for leadership review
- Manage email correspondence and meeting scheduling across departments and global partners
- Follow up on outstanding deliverables and action items to keep projects on track
- Consolidate feedback from cross-functional teams and global partners to support proposal development and planning refinement
- Organize digital files, research materials, and proposal drafts in a structured and accessible way
- Maintain consistent version control and shared document repositories (e.g., Google Drive, Teams)
- Edit, format, and package initiative documents for internal review or external presentation
- Collaborate with the Associate Director and student interns as needed on deliverables
- Contribute to applied research support by logging responses, formatting data, or assisting with reports
- Ensure that initiative handoff packages are clean, clear, and ready for transition to implementation teams
Qualifications
Required:
- Strong project coordination and organizational skills
- Experience using Asana (or similar platforms) to manage timelines, assign tasks, and track progress
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently with professionalism and discretion
- Comfort with collaboration tools (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Zoom)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; relevant experience in administration, higher education, or global ministry also considered
- Familiarity with DTS systems and workflow (e.g., Slate, Canvas, HubSpot, Teams)
- Experience working in multicultural or cross-cultural contexts
