Senior Staff Accountant (Hybrid Remote)

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-5 years of accounting experience who is proficient in QuickBooks and Excel and is eager to contribute to accurate financial management and reporting.
This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)Salary: $75,000-85,000/year

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries
• Maintain and update financial records in QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and consistency
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• Assist with month-end and year-end close activities
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies
• Generate financial reports and summaries using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.)

Requirements:

• Proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel
• 2+ years accounting experience
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
