Lockheed Martin RMS is seeking a Software Engineer (Radar Engineering) - Early Career. In this role, you will perform functional analyses, design trade studies, allocate and develop requirements, carry out integration and test duties, and define systems interfaces by translating customer requirements into system and software specifications. The successful candidate will have experience or knowledge of MATLAB, Python, Unix OS, and/or C++.
Must be a US Citizen; This position will require a government security clearance.; This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications
- At least a B.S. in one of the following: Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, or equivalent degree
- Introductory knowledge of one or more of the following: Matlab, Python, Unix OS, and/or C++
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Desired skills
• Advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
• Strong mathematics background in linear algebra, statistical analysis and signal processing.
• Basic knowledge of Radar Systems and associated applications
• Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematics and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Active DoD Secret level clearance or higher.
• Familiarity with design, tools, and environments for radar systems and subsystems for performance analysis and modeling
